AGE-GROUPS & CLASSES
At Lavelle Academy, we have three different age groups:
For new children, our Head of School will discuss with the family which age group will be most suitable for their child. Children already attending Lavelle move into a higher age group when they require further challenges and a more developmentally appropriate environment. Transitioning to a new group, which typically happens at the end of a term, is a gradual process to ensure a smooth and positive move for the child. Families are always consulted.
OUR UNIQUE PLAYGROUP CLASSES
At Lavelle Academy we offer playgroups for children and their parents/caregivers.
LAVELLE PLAYGROUP
Our Playgroup sessions are led by a dedicated educator and are planned on the developmental needs and interests of specific age-groups (6-12 months and 12-18 months). Valuable information regarding childhood development, as well as an abundance of ideas to introduce at home are shared with families.
Each class is comprised of:
• Group time greeting
• Sensory explorations
• Garden discovery and physical development
• Treasure baskets
• Goodbye group time

ENRICHMENT CLASSES
Lavelle Academy is proud to have an affiliation with the Alpha School of Dance – a Royal Academy of Dance registered school established in 2005 in Hong Kong, along with the support from international award winning choreographer Nguyen Ngoc Anh, Miss Diana Leung – Principal of Alpha School of Dance, Meritorious Artist Ngo Thuy To Nhu, Meritorious Artist Ta Thuy Chi, Meritorious Artist Nguyen Thi Chuc Quynh to offer a world-class ballet program for children, meeting the criteria for the exams of Royal Academy of Dance.

We take pride in our salt-water swimming pool that ensures your child is not only haveing fun, but also being well taken care. Led by Ms. Le Kim Ngan – a 14-year-experienced instructor of Ho Chi Minh City’s Swimming Team – your child is in safe hands to have fun and grow confident in the water.
